Ageas recognised for “innovation” in the ‘Qorus Innovation in Insurance Awards’

Four Ageas projects made it to the final rounds of this highly prestigious awards programme. From close to 300 entries from across 40 countries, both Grupo Ageas Portugal and AKsigorta in Türkiye were recognised with ‘Bronze’ awards. The award winners are selected through an independent judging and voting process.

In the Workforce Transformation category, Grupo Ageas Portugal was recognised for its entrepreneurial ‘Inside’ initiative: an internal innovation programme where employees can develop their own ideas. They get the chance to implement these within the organization, alongside learning innovation methodologies from a range of different innovation experts.

And in the Re-imagining the Customer Experience category, AKSigorta received recognition for the ‘Aksigorta Credit Card Unemployment Insurance’ product, which is embedded into Akbank Mobile, offering customers access to this important insurance product through a self-service and seamless flow. This insurance product is embedded into the digital bank customer journey, which is a direct response to the evolving demands of customers for this type of product and more accessibility.

Narrowly missing out on awards, but making the shortlist were AgeSA in Türkiye for ‘BankaBot’. An AI powered app providing quick answers to most frequently asked questions about bancassurance by sales coaches. And Ageas Portugal for innovative projects in the area of Diversity and Inclusion.
